'Idyll' – Exhibition at Osborn House

IDYLL – Exhibition in Celebration of Female Artists on Show at Osborn House

As a celebration of International Women’s Day, Osborn House and Post Space Exeter are incredibly proud to present Idyll – a collection of extraordinary artworks on exhibition throughout Osborn House this March.

Curated by Diana Palmer, Director of Post Space Exeter – this exhibition brings together contemporary female Australian artists whose works attempt to capture an essence of the inconsequential or imperfect.

Through memories, patterns and the passing of time, each artist explores the intricacies of the precarious times in which we live. Creating ‘idylls’, unsustainably picturesque moments of beauty, evoking in each work a story of repose, stillness, the sublime and fragments of a shared history.

Featuring Ashlee Becks Jedda-Daisy Culley, Amy Dynan, Stevie Fieldsend, Claire McKay, Annalisa Ferraris, Ingrid Haughton, Leila Jeffries, Sophy Reynolds, Tanya Wales (courtesy of Jennings Kerr Gallery, Robertson) & Mirra Whale.

Join us for lunch at George’s and browse the exhibition, or enjoy a few drinks in the lounge and take a tour of the works which are on show until 31st March 2024.
